Pedicabs/Rickshaws are the best way to travel in New York City. Being in an open air cab you can really take in the whole city. New York City is a vertical city and you miss so much being in an enclosed vehicle. When Central Park is closed to traffic a Horse and Carriage and a pedicab are your only means of driven transport. But unlike the Horse and Carriage, the NYC pedicab is not restricted like the horse is from busy areas such as Time Square. So in many ways a pedicab can be the best form of transportation in NYC and if you have a skilled driver who knows this city inside and out it transcends into Transportainment.

It still amazes me that even though I have been doing this for almost 10 years now I still see something new every day. New York is changing rapidly and new whole areas of the city change on almost a yearly basis.
